Gaza city — The Irada program deputy Director for fundraising and public relations, Manal Hasna, welcomed a delegation of American doctors who visited Irada program. During her welcoming, Hasna thanked the doctors for their visit, which was important to let them know about the work being done to help people with disability in Gaza.

The delegation was briefed on the mission and objectives of the program. Hasna spoke to them about the major successes illustrated by better integration of people with disability through training and rehabilitation.

“Since the program was launched in 2012, it has trained more than 700 people with disability,” Hasna said. “Our target group received training in a variety of professional and academic fields.”, Hasna added.

She then took the delegation on a tour of the Irada program, its workshops and the products exhibited there. The visitors expressed their admiration of the fact that these products were produced by the people with disability targeted by the program.

At the end of the visit, the American delegation praised the important and quality of the work of Irada. “Irada is such a great empowerment program,” Dr. Bell, one of the American visitors, said, and both of Dr. John and Dr. David stated that the work of Irada is marvelous and very important.
